The contest website is the place to check current participation steps and announcements. Some community-sharing and Launch steps are marked “Coming soon” there.
LET’S CLEAR A FEW THINGS UP
Good questions. Clear next steps.
Is the contest the same as the Launch Challenge?
They are different entry points. The free contest is a creative challenge for grades 6–12. The Launch Challenge is a guided six-module program that prepares students to help run a live HADO activation.
Does our staff need AR or esports experience?
No prior technical background is required for the Launch Challenge. HADO USA provides the structure, materials and guidance as your team works through it.
How do pricing and funding work?
Launch pricing, funded places, participation requirements and event availability are confirmed with the GMA team. Tell us about your organization, student group and goals so we can discuss the right option.
Can we arrange a HADO demonstration?
Contact the team with your proposed audience, venue and event scope. We’ll discuss availability, setup and pricing. Demonstrations and live events are coordinated separately from the free contest.
What happens after our first activation?
Successful Launch participants can explore an ongoing HADO program, gameplay and league opportunities. Ask the team about available support, equipment options and the next stage for your school.
